Happy 4th of July

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO OUR CAMPERS AND FAMILIES!

REMINDER THAT CAMP WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW (Monday, July 5th) IN OBSERVANCE OF THE HOLIDAY!!!

Another wonderful week with your children. Not as hot this time. In fact a few days this week it was quite cool early in the morning and we saw many of your children wearing sweatshirts and long pants (big change from last week). By the time we left for the swim club it was getting warmer and we were able to go swimming on Mon. Tues, Thurs. and Fri.

We did make it to Freddy Hill Farms on Wednesday and everyone had a great time golfing and eating their home made ice cream. Make sure to check on the gallery in the website to see the pictures.

Trip for the week of July 6th:

Trip this week: Happy Tymes (all time favorite).

Your children NEED SOCKS! SOCKS SOCKS SOCKS………………

Cost for this trip is $10.

Our trip day is scheduled for Thursday 7/8

To make it easy for children who need to buy lunch,

on trip days we offer PIZZA.

Your children may buy pizza for $2.00 a slice.

We also offer drinks, soda, iced tea, apple juice, for $1.00.

When you drop off your children let us know if they would like pizza.

Our plan is to go to the pool on T, W and F.

Please visit our website/blog often since news and photos go up several times a week.

We are also trying to make it easy on Monday mornings so parents don’t have to stand in line very long.

Go to forms and click on Payment form.

Fill the form out and insert in an envelope with your check and pool money.

Also add the snack money for your child if you want us to hold it.

This way you can just drop off the envelope and not stand in line.

In case you have forgotten the form but still would like to leave more easily/quickly,

there will also be envelopes and forms available at the “desk” at Crefield.

Just fill one out and you’re done.

This is the first year of Fun in the Sun for our kids – it came highly recommended as an affordable camp where kids can just relax, make new friends, and play! Their school year is so structured and it’s wonderful that Fun in the Sun provides an opportunity for a different kind of growth.

Fun in the Sun reminds me of my best summer days from childhood. My boys play hard all day with good friends. They hang at the swimming pool. This is where they both learned to swim in fact. Getting their high dive bands is cause for celebration each June. At Fun in the Sun they feel free to play sports, make beautiful art, perform, and most importantly relax and enjoy just being kids. I trust the staff implicitly to put their safety first. Just as important I know they are appreciated and known and cared for as individuals. I cannot imagine a summer without Fun in the Sun and neither can my children.
